I really need to post more often....

Hello all, where do I even begin....The good Lord has been so great to us. We have moved out of Toledo up to Lambertville Michigan. The older boys go to Monroe Rd Elementary. They absolutely love it there. NO UNIFORMS!!! Isabella is growing like a weed. Starting to sit up and is rolling all over. She just started baby food which has been quite the adventure. Mathias is talking up a storm. His vocabulary for a 2 yr old is amazing. I am still working contingent at the hospital and Pedro is working full time while trying to finish up his last semester of school. The boys are finishing up wrestling and moving into baseball. Isaac has done extremely well this year in wrestling so far and Dominic has faced some really tough competition but he knows it will only make him stronger.

September 3rd 2009

Hello everyone, I figured it was time for a new update. Our new little angel, Isabella Grace, Yes finally got my little girl, arrived on Aug. 24th. She was 6 and 1/2 weeks early. She was in the NICU for the first week of her life, but the great Lord kept His hands on her the entire time and she progressed wonderfully. She is now home and doing great. The boys went back to school on the 25th, new school for them, but they really seem to be enjoying it. Dominic is on guard patrol and really enjoys it. The responsibility aspect of it for him is great. He will also be starting his fall baseball league on the 12th of September. His baseball team won the Little League World Series back in July in Sterlng Heights, MI. It was very exciting. He is also trying to get on a football team so he can play that as well. Isaac is looking forward to playing soccer this year, I am sure he will do great. Then in October they will both start wrestling. We are so busy with these boys. Currently I am off work and enjoying my time at home with Mathias and Isabella. Mathias is turning into a little 2 year old. He really thinks he runs the show around here. Of course the day we bring Isabella home from the hospital Mathias is sick with 103-104 fever. NOT FUN! We traveled a lot this summer with Dominics baseball team, in and out of town just about every other weekend. It was nice to have the chance to do this. Pedro is back to work now, but on vacation for a couple weeks since Isabella arrived. He is still finishing up school, should be done in the spring. We are still praying about trying to sell our home or rent it out so that we can move out of Toledo. Well, I think thats it for now, will try to post more frequently to keep everyone updated.

its been way too long....

Ok, sorry its been so long since the last update. I need to do it more often. Ok where do I even begin. Dominic and Isaac are finishing up their first year of wrestling. They bothed loved it and did absolutely wonderful for their first time. Dominic is getting ready to head to the state tournament this weekend. Baseball for Dominic has already started. Sometimes I feel like it never ended. Isaac is gonna play ball again with his cousin Zach on his Uncle Bob's team. The boys just love their sports. We have been homeschooling the kids since January. Things are going well with that. They both have some issues with mom and dad occasionally but all in all its going well. Mathias is keeping him self busy everyday. He is becoming such an independant little guy. I can't believe he is already 15 mos. They just grow sooo fast! He never stops talking he just babbles and babbles and waves his arms around like he is having the most in depth conversation with someone. Its way to cute!

Pedro will be heading back to work finally after a really long lay off on the 3oth of March. I am still working when I can fit it into my schedule at St. Charles in the psychiatric unit. Pedro is finishing up school and should graduate in December. After that he has a job waiting for him in Tiffin. We are really praying that the Lord leads us in that direction by helping us to sell our home and be able to afford to move to that area. He will be taking a pay cut with this job but there is so much more stability with it. And last but not least we are expecting #4 in October. Yed, hoping for that girl but of course we are so blessed and thrilled either way. I promise to try and get back on and post some newer pics soon.

September 16th, 2008

Hello all. I have finally got my own blog to keep everyone posted on the family and the kids. Things in the Vasquez Household have been full force. The kids are back at school. The attend Bennett Venture Academy, its a charter school in the area. I keep praying on it that one day Ill be able to take them out of school and homeschool them. Dominic has this extreme deep desire to be homeschooled. For some reason he just doesn't like school.
The kids are still overly consumed with sports. They love anything that consists of a ball. Toys, what are these, my boys know nothing of them. They just love to be outside running and playing all day if they can. Dominic is still playing ball with the Bedford Bombers. Over the summer the took 3rd in the state tournament and attended the Little League World Series for the 9U group in Indiana. It was quite an experience for him. Something that he will never forget. Isaac also played ball over the summer but that is over now. He did really well and grew in his skills. Both the boths are going to try wrestling in October. Dominic is looking forward to it, Isaac a little eerie. I think they will both do fine. Isaac just doesn't like hard work.
Both the boys are growing and growing fast. Isaac is my short little stocky man, Dominic is my tall, skinny man. They are two completely personalities. Isaac is so sarcastic and just thinks that everything is a joke and nothing in the world can get to him. Dominic on the other hand is very emotional and gets his feelings hurt very easy. Isaac is now in the second grade and Dominic in the fourth. Its just crazy how fast they grow up.
Next the newest addition, Mathias James. The love of my life. He is just the coolest baby ever. He has a smile that can light up any room. You can never be in a bad mood with this little guy around. He is now 9 mos. Crawling, pulling up on furniture, and consistently climbing up the stairs. He keeps us very busy. You can't take your eye off him for a minute.
Pedro is finishing up school, hopefully only the rest of fall semester and spring semester to go. Then he will have a degree in Biomedical Electronic. He is stil working at Rexam, a factory in Whitehouse. He has been laid of since May, he took it voluntarily to help him finish school up a little faster. I myself work as a RN at St. Charles Hospital. I work in the Mental Health and Behavioral Services. I love my job, but it does get mentally and emotionally exhausting at times. We hope to be able to move out of Toledo within a few years. We just pray and ask the Lord to lead us in the direction that He wants us to go. We take life day by day and try not to take anything for granted. Well, thats it for now. I will try and post as things come about to keep everyone posted on the the Vasquez Family. All our love.
